Dark tailoring, vintage gold and a grin that rarely means anything good. Jisaiah Rhodes is 23, born in New Orleans, later drawn to Atlanta and now making alternative R&B with Stormrider Records. His voice draws close, holds something back and slips into falsetto while the bass keeps moving.

Vintage gold.

His grandfather Isaiah gave him the gold pocket watch when Julian was about twelve. Today he wears it with dark tailoring. The monocle came later — his own choice.
